About Me - Your local female tattoo artist

I’ve been a tattoo artist for three years now and I have developed a passion for creating a wide range of tattoo styles from delicate fine line pieces to large vibrant colour works.

How I Started

I did my apprenticeship at a local tattoo studio in Wigan. My mentor was fantastic and he taught me everything I know. I sat and watched him tattoo and he explained his process to me. I did your usual apprentice duties - I cleaned stations, set up stations, made brews, chatted with clients, checked stock and kept the studio clean.

After a few months of shadowing I started practicing on fake skin and fruit and I eventually tattooed myself for more practice.

I did my first tattoo on my fiancé in September 2021 and it was the scariest moment of my career. Actually tattooing a real human being! It's not like I could erase any mistakes, it was on there! And from that first tattoo I have kept practicing - I've challenged myself so many times taking on tough projects to improve my work.

In September 2023 I moved to Solstice Tattoo Gallery with a few friends from my first studio and that is where I reside today! Our studio is a beautiful, quiet and cosy place with four resident artists - Me, Leah, Dee and Meg.
